There are lots of day-day activities that require core stability to achieve and that you can do if you want to maintain or improve core strength.

If you’d like to challenge your core but exercise routines aren’t for you, there are a series of games or general day to day activities that will activate your core muscles.

Balloon batting (tapping a balloon between you and another person or group of people) is an excellent activity to do from a wheelchair or in standing.  Reaching up, forward and to the side will not only get your heart beating faster, but it’s a great activity for your core muscles too.

Unpacking your shopping, vacuuming, reaching up to hang out washing and reaching over and across a bed to make it, all requires core muscles.
